The buzz around Reading & Leeds is at an all time high this year. Not only have they got the legendary Red Hot Chili Peppers back to headline, but they're leading the way this year in giving new bands a chance at the headlining slot with Foals and Disclosure co-headlining a night as well.

With this new announcement we've now got joint headliners for the third day as well. Both as UK exclusives, Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy will be co-headlining the Sunday at Reading and Friday at Leeds. Alongside these, all of the below have also been added to the line-up:

Commenting on the return after their triumphant headline slot in 2014, Biffy Clyro stated: "We're baaaaack!! We are honoured to be asked to close Reading and Leeds this summer. We had one of the best nights of our lives last time and we're going to do all we can to make it even bigger and better in 2016. You ain't seen nothing yet motherfuckers!!"

Fall Out Boy shared in their enthusiasm: "It’s pretty surreal to hear we are going to be co-headlining Reading and Leeds. R&L was our first real festival experience outside of the U.S. and since the start we have buckled in and had an insane and memorable experience every time we have played. This is it, the big one for us and we are excited to be a part of it."

Looking more at some of the current rising stars as well, Creeper sound ready to take the opportunity by the neck: "We are incredibly excited to be playing Reading and Leeds festival this year. Members of our band have been attending these festivals since we were kids, it is an incredible honour to have been asked to play and we promise a very special show."
