Tech Fest have today announced the band to top the bill when it rolls into the Newark Showground on 10th-14th July and it is none other than the mighty SikTH.

SikTH are probably the most important band to influence Tech-Metal so to have them reformed and headlining the bill is truly fitting.

Alongside SikTH, the festival have also announced Djent beasts Monuments and one of the most skilled Acoustic Guitar players you'll ever see in John Gomm.

Commenting on the additions, Tech-Fest organiser Simon Garrod had this to say, "Sikth are arguably the most important band in UK tech-metal. They have inspired pretty much every band on this entire bill, and without them, the UK tech scene would not be anything like it is today. So it is a great honour to have them play, and i hope it feels like a home coming for them!

It is always a pleasure to have Monuments, who are have also been a massive inspiration to our younger bands, and Jon Gomm is a really big deal for us as his acoustic wizardry adds a whole new dimension to the event. Bring on July 10th!"
