SikTh made a triumphant return in 2014, and whilst it has always been a bit up in the air whether they'd look to continue that momentum, the band have now announced that 2015 will indeed see the band record and release new material. The as yet untitled EP will be the first release since the incredible Death Of A Dead Day in 2006.

Commenting on releasing new material guitarist Dan Weller stated, "We’ve always maintained that more music would emerge one day and for the first time in years it feels like now is the time... We had an amazing time travelling round the World last year. Having a chance to reconnect with our fans was very special for us”

The EP will another in a long line of releases recently to be done via a PledgeMusic campaign for which Weller explained, "Since we have such a good relationship with our fans we decided that funding the E.P via a PledgeMusic campaign was the best option for us and them. We could have signed a deal but it just adds so many complications for a band like us"

Now if that wasn't exciting enough, then the band have also announced a string of UK dates this December:

5th Dec - Glasgow - Classic Grand
6th Dec - Manchester - Academy 2
10th Dec - Bristol - Marble Factory
11th Dec - Birmingham - Academy 2
12th Dec - London - Forum

Tickets go on sale Wednesday 29th April via the band's PledgeMusic page - PLEDGEMUSIC SIKTH
