When Corey Taylor started doing acoustic solo shows a couple of years ago, it's huge success meant that the demand for his return on these shores with that kind of show has been huge. We love him in Slipknot, we love him in Stone Sour and we love him on his own with his guitar.
Corey Taylor will be playing at London's KOKO on Sunday 8th May in a show taking up the "An Evening With..." format with no support acts. Commenting on the special one-off show, Corey Taylor himself stated: "Everyone's been asking me when I was going to come back to the UK and do some acoustic stuff - honestly, it's not because I didn't want to!! So since I'm going to be in London doing some stuff in May, I decided we'd make one happen!! And I cannot WAIT!!". Based on previous shows it's safe to expect both Slipknot and Stone Sour material twisted to suit a solo acoustic performance along with a host of covers.
