SHVPES confirmed recently that they'd completed work on their as yet untitled upcoming debut album due out later this year via Search & Destroy/Spinefarm Records. The band have already been receiving widespread critical acclaim, both from previous releases and their impressive live shows.

Commenting on the release of both this track and forthcoming album, vocalist Griffin stated, "We're finally out of musical hibernation and so excited to start showing the world what SHVPES is really all about. There have been a lot of big changes in our camp over the past year and it's time to re-lay the foundations. This song's about the stupidity in following something that's quite obviously fucking evil. Get ready for what's coming next."

The band also have a series of live dates with We Came As Romans and Miss May I very soon:

21st May - Brighton - The Great Escape Festival
24th May - Liverpool - Arts Club (w/WCAR and Miss May I)
25th May - Glasgow - King Tut's (w/WCAR and Miss May I)
26th May - Newcastle - O2 Academy 2 (w/WCAR and Miss May I)
27th May - Manchester - Sound Control (w/WCAR and Miss May I)
