Hella have had labels such as 'post-rock duo','math rock' and 'art-metal'. Their music is a blend of fast and crazy percussion and heavy metal guitar with no vocals. They got together in Sacramento California after they realised the bands they were currently in were not what they wanted and instead 'they were on the same page' musically. No more members have been recruited (yet?), not because they don't want anyone else, they didn't set out to be a duo, but just because nobody else has clicked. read less
