Valentine
Biography
The Valentine started in October of 2003.after the breakup of Transgression. After 5 years several demos, one e.p. release and 2 UK tours Transgression felt like it was time to move on. So with a name change and a new singer The Valentine was formed. The Valentine immediately started playing all over the tri-state area every weekend with such National acts as Sworn Enemy, Eighteen Visions, Unearth, Funeral For a Friend, Waterdown, Misfits and more. In December of 03 The Valentine recorded a demo with Vince Ratti at Skylight Studios. After the recording they wasted no time, and hit the road immediately. In late December The Valentine did a two week tour, hitting all over the East Coast stretching from Miami to Canada. After the tour was over they immediately signed a deal with Goodbye Blue Skies records/Lumberjack Distribution. In April The Valentine headed over to the UK for two weeks, for their first tour with the new name. Then in May of 04 The Valentine recorded their debut e.p. 'Million Dollar Smile' at Clay Creek Studios. In July they headed back out for a 4 week tour of the East Coast and Midwest. With 'Million Dollar Smile' set to hit stores on October 26th, 2004 and full time tour schedule The Valentine quickly earning a name for themselves in the underground music scene.Lou - Guitar
