Biography

Sebastian Bach became well known for being the lead singer of the heavy metal band Skid Row. Born in the Bahamas in 1968 Sebastian Bierk soon changed his name to Bach. His time in Skid Row started around 1989 when they released their debut album. Things started going wrong for Sebastian at a gig in Springfield, MA when he was hit by a bottle on the head during a gig, in a rage he flung it back at the crowd hitting an innocent girl in the face and ended up assaulting another member of the audience. He received three years probation but this did not stop his bad behaviour as he went on MTV with a t-shirt bearing the slogan "Aids Kills Fags Dead". Despite all of this bad press Skid Row were doing really well and their second album went straight to number one in the chart in 1991. Bach was dismissed by the band in 1995. He formed a band with ex-Breeder Kelley Deal, The Last Hard Men, but this didn't last long and in 1997 he decided to go solo. He released his debut album in November 2000 'Bring 'Em Bach Alive'. Recently he has done some TV and stage shows but ie keen to return to making music. read less
