Biography
Silkfest is the creation of Rock Bitch Promotions and Final Call Records and aims to bring you the best new music around in one place. Perhaps before you thought that Basingstoke was a no-go area when it came to music, but not anymore!This all day event, to be held at Silks, Basingstoke on the 27th March, runs from 1PM until late with sets from the talented Sacred Flesh, No Comply, Fireapple Red and even scot-rockers Freeview alongside DJ sets from Frodo, Hanging and Miss Bitch. With music that spans all tastes (of the rock variety, that is...) Silkfest proves that Sundays don't always have to be boring.
Money raised from the festival will be donated to the British Heart Foundation and local charity Heather House, with tickets available on the door. The price is yet to be confirmed.
