Biography
Formed in 1995, 3 Colours Red are one of the UK’s most successful (and enduring) rock bands. With a career that already includes two top 20 albums, eight top 40 singles, numerous sold out tours and a plethora of plaudits from critics and fans alike, 3 Colours Red have proved to be something very special indeed.
After a 2-year hiatus (2001/2002) the quartet bounced back in 2003 with the ‘Repeat To Fade’ single and a newly invigorated sense of purpose. Signed to Mighty Atom Records (Funeral For A Friend, Hondo Maclean, Hollywood Ending) they release their new single ‘The World Is Yours’ on June 7 and their statement of intent album ‘Union Of Souls’ on July 5.
Produced by Joe Gibb (Million Dead, Funeral For A Friend, Johnny Truant) the new songs ably demonstrate just how vital and potent 3 Colours Red are. From the gentle introspective sway of the title track opener to the heavy as hell ‘Counterfeit Jesus’, the band show a depth and edge that is as contemporary as it is powerful. 3 Colours Red in 2004 are as absolutely essential as ever.
