Crashdiet were formed in Stockholm at the beginning of 2000 with dreams of rock stardom until huge rifts, bloody brawls and other distractions culminated in a break-up before they’d hardly got going. Then in 2002, half of the band was changed, they returned to the studio, and suddenly everything fell into place. With sights set on the eighties hard rock scene everything began in earnest, eventually leading to the release of debut single ‘Riot In Everyone’ this year.

The band have played venues all over Sweden, ranging from youth clubs to punk rock parties. In a time when the pop and hip-hop reign over the radio and the charts, Crashdiet have slowly but surely built up a strong fan base in both Sweden and abroad. read less
