The 4ft.Soldiers have been together for 5 years and have played continually during this time at high profile venues such as The Cavern club, The Barfly, The Roadhouse, The Night and Day Cafe, The Late Room Manchester and the Fez club in Sheffield. The band has supported various artists on tour such as the Glitterati, Black Wire, the Koreans, and Oceansize. As well as supporting these acclaimed groups, the 4ft.Soldiers have also headlined two end of year festivals at Lancaster University as well as presently headlining their own tour. The band is also on the top twenty playlist of Bailrigg FM, which broadcasts from Lancaster (www.bailriggfm.com) with their single 'Fade In' recorded at Elevator Studios in Liverpool where the likes of the Coral and the Zutons have also recorded.

The 4FT SOLDIERS energetic live performance (that they are renowned for) has been noticed when playing alongside the likes of Haven, Mani (Stone Roses) and Andy Rourke (The Smiths) at Manchester's 'Today' festival in aid of Cancer Research.

More recently the band stunned the crowd at this years GUILFEST 2005 playing the Rocksounnd Cave along side, Reuben, Million Dead, The Glitterati, Raging Speedhorn, Johnny Truant, Engerica and Oceansize. Following an impressive performance they received the following press review comments:

Over the last four years the band has attracted a large following in both their hometown of Warrington, Lancaster, Manchester and Liverpool and are hoping to capitalise on this through their 2005 tour. The Band are playing as many established venues as possible, looking to build upon their already growing reputation.
