Biography

Players are surely the most exciting Funk band in Britain today.
Their nucleus boasts an illustrious pedigree. There's Mick Talbot, Hammond
organ maestro, who's provided keys for Dexy's Midnight Runners, The Style
Council, and Galliano. There's Steve White, talented sticksman who's
played with the James Taylor Quartet, The Style Council and is currently
playing drums for Paul Weller. Finally there's Damon Minchella, the one-time
bassist with Ocean Colour Scene and currently a member of Paul Weller's band
alongside Steve. Raucous Vocals come from Kelly Dickson, and Ken and Carl
Papenfus (from Irish band Relish). read less
