Hailing from Staffordshire, and with a name inspired by Arthur Millers 'The Crucible'(a story of the Salem witch trials), ABIGAIL'S MERCY are a female-fronted gothic metal band, in the vein of the classic sounds of Sisters of Mercy but also with a nod toward the current rash of Euro-metal like Nightwish and Lacuna Coil.

Following the success of their independently released EP in 2004, the band then entered Robanna's Studio in Birmingham and set to work on recording their debut album 'Salvation'. They were then signed up to Casket Records, and the album will be released on September 26th.

A video for the storming opening track 'To Hell With Angels' is being filmed and will be submitted to all relevant channels, and the band will be heading out on a co-headlining UK tour with Season's End and Without Face (Earache).
