Biography

If NHA was an object, what would it be?
With sublime songwriting, left-field hooks, claustrophobic melodies and
moments of restrained brutality. With lyrical themes like death, sex and
surveillance, all the mainstays of a Friday night. With a rhythm section
strung tighter than a smackhead one day into rehab and a front man who truly
puts heart, soul & calories into each performance. With, above all, talent-- -
this is a band that is hard to categorize. The 'emo' tag is far too lazy and
does no justice to their diversity. Sure, there are metal and alternative
elements but this is no metal band and does 'alternative' even exist anymore?
Like Biffy Clyro, Trail of Dead, Coheed and the Deftones before them, NO HOPE
ASTRONAUT refuse to be defined by one simple genre. But feel free to make up
your own mind, if that is still allowed. read less
