Hang on the box is an all girl punk rock group from Beijing, China. They met in an underground bootleg store in Beijing when Yan Fan asked Wang Yue and Yilina for cigarettes. Shen Jing then joined in 1999. After a rocky start the girls persevered and are well known in the Chinese punk scene, famed for knowledge of english swear words. Due to restrictions however the band now base themselves in Japan. Yilina actually comes from Mongolia and is the only one with a sibling due to the one child policy. read less
