Biography

Liverpool 8 piece Ella Guru are set to release their highly anticipated debut album ‘My First Album' through Banana Recordings on August 9th 2004. The album will be preceded by the single ‘Augustas Golden’ which will be released on August 2nd, also through Banana.

‘The First Album’ will be released on 13 track CD including Augustas Golden and previous release On a Beach as a secret track.

The promised success of the album is something the and are preparing themselves for:

“It’s the strangest thing imagining people we don’t know all over the place, playing these songs that are so close to us. But we just want to be able to recreate our atmosphere wherever, for whoever. I suppose we’ll get used to it.”
