Biography

Having signed a global deal in 2003 to Among Giants / Dreamcatcher Records - Vero are your upbeat, direct explosive, in your face rock act. Their intention is pure and simple… as frontman Marc Fargeo states, ‘We are just out to write good music with hooks, melody and passion.”

And it really is as simple as that!

Their debut single (the blistering ‘How Does It Feel’) was released in the early summer of 2004. Combining melody with muscle and Marc Fargeo’s expressive, soaring vocals, ‘How Does It Feel’ provided a sterling introduction to the band’s take on post-millennial rock music. It’s accompanying video spent weeks in the top 10 of Sky TV’s Scuzz channel and won the Video Vote in Kerrang Magazine.

The debut album ‘Inborn’ is released on Among Giants / Dreamcatcher Records on Sept 13 2004, and showcases the band’s talents in fine style. Produced by Neak Camp (who has previously worked with Funeral For A Friend, Sikth and Hondo Maclean) it features 13 tracks and (in a similar vein to Foo Fighters, Incubus and the like), embraces anthemic choruses, rolling riffery, driving melodies and brooding lyrics.

Live performances continue to bring fresh converts to the Vero cause, and Vero plan to stay on the road for the remainder of 2004

If 2004 is the year of the Brit rock revolution then this is the year for Vero.
