Biography

Blind Ambition is a Welsh hard rock band formed in 2007, with the original line up being Martin Care (Vocals), Richard Morris (Lead guitar/Vocals), David Malpas (Bass), Keith Trendell (Rhythm guitar/Vocals) and Alan Smith (Drums). That line up played shows across the UK including supporting the Mexicolas in London, recorded an E.P with Jeff and Ginge at Nottin Pill Studio and won a place headlining the Kerrang stage at the Tattoo jam in Llandudno.

The band have gained great success with the track 'Judgement Day' especially, with the track getting repeatedly played on Kerrang, Bruce Dickinson’s rock show, Radio Borders and Lopedsidedworld of L in Arizona US with some smaller stations in between. Blind Ambition in the last year have played sell out shows supporting Warrior Soul, Ricky Warwick (The Almighty), former Iron Maiden man Blaze Bayley and the amazing Guns 2 Roses.

Last year a few members of blind ambition decided to part ways due to other commitments and guitarists Gareth Knychala and Trefor Farrimond replaced them. Blind Ambition now feel they have a strong line up consisting of every member being dedicated, committed, hardworking and have so far played around 50 gigs around the UK as a new line up and around 40 confirmed to play so far this year.

Blind Ambition has also been confirmed to play Hard Rock Hell 4 in December alongside Blaze Bayley and Skid Row. read less
