Biography

something simple are a young funk/jazz band based in North London. They've been together about a year and have 5 set members, as well as some friends who come and play with us sometimes. They mix different styles that they enjoy listening to, using funky stuff as a basis. Some examples of people who something simple sound a bit like would be maybe Average White Band, James Brown, the Meters, maybe a bit of cuban stuff like Buena Vista, whatever really.

Definately take a listen if you like music thats a bit different sometimes, you might be pleasantly surprised by what you hear.

The 5 main members are Ollie Lowe (drums) Lester Salmins (bass, keyboard) Greg Sanders (guitar) Tom Shirm (guitar), and Leo Aarons-Richardson (sax, bass).
