A battle of the bands competition in high school saw this band get together. This was 1994 in Los Angeles. It took until August 2000 for Island to sign them. Then they toured with Incubus and Alien Ant Farm and with the release of 'The Reason' Hoobastank have started to make a name for themselves.
In 2003 the guys were riding mini-motorcycles when Estrin crashed. A visit to the hospital found a tiny skull fracture which if they hadn't of operated on he could have died. read less
