SAGA played their first live show on June 13th 1977 in Toronto, Canada and continued on the local club circuit. Described as hard progressive with 'a taste for symphonism and melodies and real talent for efficient riffs'
1981 they had their first Juno Award (Canada's version of the Grammy.
1982 played to 10,000 fans at the opening of a new sports arena in Budapest.
1986 Steve and Jim decided to call it a day and left the band but in 1991 they rejoined to form the original line up again
1993 performed the music for the TV show 'Cobra'
1995 completed the project 'Generation 13', a 25 song rock opera which explores contemporary images of a dysfunctional family
