Despite earlier reports indicating an April release, the complete Frank Black And The Catholics box set will be release on 4th May via Cooking Vinyl.

The box set will include seven CD's featuring all of the band's six studio albums plus a bonus containing recordings from the Black Letter Days album sessions. All in all the box set will see well over a hundred tracks all ready for you to sink your teeth in to. Black Francis AKA Frank Black has listed the songs in alphabetical order as he explains, "It feels like an approximation of randomness and its a way to randomise something, especially if its titles.” he goes onto say by placing the songs this way ‘we get away from the preciousness of LPs we put out and its more about the body of work , the good times that we had"
