By far and away the new Dillinger Escape Plan album is one of the most anticipated releases of 2016. In a year which has already been extraordinarily strong as far as new music is concerned, Dillinger are set to make their mark as well. The band are gearing towards the release of Dissociation due out on 14th October via Party Smasher Inc./Cooking Vinyl.

As has been widely publicised, this album will be the final output from a band who's career has never dipped below eleven. Whilst it is sad being in the knowledge that the band are heading towards bowing out, they're not going quietly, as you will hear for yourself with the new track, Symptom Of Terminal Illness below. Commenting on the album as a whole, Ben Weinman has stated: "Dissociation represents the splitting of a molecule into smaller molecules, atoms, or ions, breaking bonds to release energy. Over the past two decades, this band has given me and my bandmates, both collectively and individually, the opportunity to experience the world in a way most could never imagine. This album is a celebration of that experience and the energy it has produced."
