Hacktivist have sadly announced that co-vocalist Ben Marvin has now departed from the band with the search for a replacement already underway. The departure is not the result of any kind of bad blood at all, rather Ben is leaving the band due to family commitments and a desire to spend more time at home.
Commenting on his own departure, Ben addressed Hacktivist fans, "My time in Hacktivist has been sick! Big up all the fans across the world and the rest of the band for making this possible. One love."
The band have followed with their own statement wishing Ben well: "We want to wish Ben all the best for his future endeavours. Hacktivist won't be the same without him and we will all miss him. But this is also a new beginning for H, and we're looking forward to the next chapter."
Hacktivist have stressed that all tour commitments will still be honoured, including those big shows at UK Tech-Fest, Download Spain and Graspop.
