The Crack. I cannot explain to you the impact that this LP had. It is simply one of the best albums of it's time. A true treasure that does not age but only impresses the more you play it. Henry Rollins
Ruts DC have been enjoying a well deserved resurgence in recent years and have capitalised on it with the release of two well received new albums. Next year however they take a look back to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of their debut album The Crack. Frequently cited as one of the most influential albums to come out of the punk scene of the late 70s, it was a fitting testament to singer Malcolm Owen, who died in the following year.
They are joined on the tour by The Professionals, featuring Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook.
