Nocturnal Rites have a new album set to be released on the 19th September. 'Grand Illusion' features the artwork of Axel Herrmann and continues on with the theme that they're well known for.
The band have finished work on their seventh studio album, which was recorded and mixed at the Toontrack Studio in Umea. The album also features a large collection of guess musicians including the likes of Stefan Elmgren (Hammerfall), Jens Johansson (Stratovarius) and Henrick Danhage (Evergrey).
The completed album will contain a limited edition bonus DVD, which includes the three videaos from 'New World Messiah' alongside the new video for 'Fools Never Die', footage from the 'Demons Of The Opera' show and 'The Making of Grand Illusion'.
To support the album release, the band will also support Nightwish on three shows in Sweden.
