Springfield, Massachusetts' suppliers of all things heavy, The Acacia
Strain, have booked studio time for recording the follow up to 2004's 3750.
The new album, scheduled for a late-spring release date through Prosthetic
Records, will tentatively be called VICTIMS, a name sure to conjure up
images of those left in the band's wake of brutality.

Recording will begin Dec. 1 with seasoned producer Adam Dutkiewicz
(Killswitch Engage, All That Remains), who was previously responsible for
the bludgeoning sound of 3750. The band is currently at work finishing
material for the new album, as well as playing a few shows in the Northeast USA around Halloween where they will continue showcasing new tunes.
