According to a post on the official Judas Priest web site, the band's new 'Rising in the East' DVD is to get a worldwide release on January 16th 2006, although those lucky folk in the USA and Canada can get it this month on November 15th.
The definitive Judas Priest lineup of vocalist Rob Halford, lead guitarists Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing, bass guitarist Ian Hill and drummer Scott Travis filmed the DVD in May 2005 at the legendary Budokan in Tokyo, during two sold out shows.
These shows were to promote the early 2005 release of the critically acclaimed studio album 'Angel of Retribution'. their first new material in 15 years.
