It has been announced that Talking Heads are reissuing all eight of their classic studio albums next year.

They've been expanded and remastered and will come in a double-disc format, with packaging including rare photos and song-inspired pieces of art.

Each set will include the original albums with bonus tracks plus a DVD featuring a photo gallery and video tracks.

Five will be released on the Sire/ Rhino label and three on EMI, and will be in the shops in early 2006.

In other news David Byrnes has a new musical being unveiled next spring. He has teamed up with Fatboy Slim to create the production about the life and passion for music of former Philippines first lady Imelda Marcos.
