Reel Big Fish have split with Jive Records after four years and two full-length albums, 'We're Not Happy 'Til You're Not Happy' and 'Cheer Up!'.
Reel Big Fish hope to pursue more daring opportunities that didn't fit into the corporate scheme of things.
"The traditional major label business model is a dinosaur whose feet are already covered in tar," according to band manager Vince Pileggi. "We have already been in touch with numerous labels and are actively considering aggressive deals that we hope will be the new industry standard."
Reel Big Fish are on a US tour with Goldfinger and Zebrahead as part of the Deep Freeze Tour. Later this month they arrive in the UK to play
