Disturbed have officially confirmed their European tour Postponement, and this means that those who were looking forward to seeing Nevermore will also be disappointed.
A statement on behalf of the band reads:
"We are sorry to announce that due to the unfortunate cancellation of Disturbed's European tour Nevermore will no longer be touring the UK next month."
Nevermore have been retained as support for the as yet unconfirmed rescheduled dates.
The original statement from Disturbed says:
"Disturbed have been forced to postpone their upcoming international tour dates as vocalist David Draiman has suffered a recurrence of the severe inflammation of the vocal chords that he originally suffered last year. Having returned to the live arena too soon after his last vocal problems, recent dates of Disturbed's North American tour have taken their toll on Draiman's voice and he has been advised by his doctor to take an extended break to ensure a complete recovery. As a result, all European dates have
been rescheduled for September."
