Last week we told you about an exciting new festival called Hi:Fi, which is to run simultaneously in the North East and South of England.

The details of the Northern leg can be found
Here.

Hi:Fi South has now been announced.

It will take place for two days and nights on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May at Matterley Bowl near Winchester between 2pm and 4am each day. As part of the last Bank Holiday Weekend in May, Hi:Fi will kick-start the summer by being the first major outdoor music event of the season.

Headline acts for Hi:Fi South include: Hard-Fi (Saturday) and Ian Brown (Sunday). Other names appearing include The Subways, Audio Bullys, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha & Digweed, Carl Cox, and 2Many DJS.

Hi:Fi is brought to you by Angel Music Group, who are responsible for Global Gathering which last year sold out with over 40,000 people attending.

Hi:Fi will be a festival of firsts, as the first event with live bands and DJs so closely combined on a line up, and the first time the North East has had its own major festival. It will also feature non-musical entertainment including chill out areas and comedy. Bands from the local area will also be able to enter a competition to perform live in front of the huge crowds.

Tickets cost £99 for both days (including camping), or £150 for a VIP ticket for both days - these tickets will go on sale first.

Day tickets will be priced at £54.50 or £90 for VIP.

VIP tickets will entitle guest access to a private arena where they can rub shoulders with the event performers and enjoy a private bar and lounge with its own DJs and acts.
