Details of the line-up for the Orange Evolution have been announced.

This is the North East's annual music festival which features over 30 indoor gigs in six venues across Newcastle and Gateshead over twelve days, and culminates in a massive free outdoor event on Bank Holiday Monday (29th May) when the NewcastleGateshead Quayside is transformed into a major stage set.

The event rounds off with a massive outdorr one-day festival, featuring three stages of bands from 1pm until 10:30pm, and all free.

The Innovation Stage (Spillers Wharf) will see Hard-Fi, Graham Coxon, Freestylers, The Proclaimers, Boy Kill Boy, Sway, Orson, and The On Offs all perform.

The Imagination Stage (Baltic Square) has The Go! Team, Richard Hawley, Jim Noir, Field Music, Liam Frost And The Slowdown Family, The Sunshine Underground,
Lorraine, and The Bulletproof Stonelove Sound System, while the second Spillers Wharf stage, the Inspiration Stage has Richie Havens, Hayseed Dixie, Legendary
Shack, Shakers, The Handsome Family, Holly Golightly, Mofro, and The Eighteenth Day of May.
