UK chart history could be made this Sunday as for the first time ever a track could go to number one before it is available on the High Street.
Number crunching rules were changed last month to take into account download sales for tracks one week ahead of their release into shops. After one day of sales it looks like Gnarls Barkley's hugely popular track 'Crazy' could hit the top spot, the single is out to buy on CD next Monday.
The duo behind the track is multi-talented, eccentric hip-hop artist Cee-Lo and producer Danger Mouse. 'Crazy' has recently been featured on the TV promotion for Radio 1.
Other tracks selling well this week are Morrissey with 'You Have Killed Me' which looks set to push 'Crazy' for the number 1 spot, and the Kooks who are already at number 28 in the chart on download sales alone but seem set for a top tne hit this weekend.
