Sum 41 have parted company with their guitarist Dave Baksh.
He has quit the band after more than a decade, saying that he can't continue to play with the Canadian pop punk outfit due to "creative differences".
In a statement, he said: "I couldn't continue on creatively in Sum 41 without being a thorn in the side of the band. As people grow, they change."
The band's management has laughed off suggestions that Avril Lavigne, fiancee of band member Dave Whibley, will take over guitar duties.
