After providing the soundtrack for Douglas Gordon's film, 'Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait' Mogwai must have got the movie bug as they're now contributing 2 tracks for the forthcoming Miami Vice film soundtrack. 'We're No Here' and 'Auto Rock' from the band's recent album 'Mr Beast' are the lucky Hollywood-friendly tracks.
As a taster for the CD release of the soundtrack to 'Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait' this October the band will release music from the film for download and on vinyl 10" on 21st August. The film has its UK debut at the Edinburgh International Film Festival this August, you can check out a trailer here.
