Scissor Sisters have tonight pulled off another chart double and in doing so become the longest running number 1 single since Gnarls Barkley.
'I Don't Feel Like Dancin' held off competition from Killers, Lily Allen and Evanescence in the singles chart, meanwhile 'Ta-Da' made it two weeks at the top of the album chart, with the top five being made up by Fratellis, Razorlight, Lily Allen and Snow Patrol.
Lower down the chart, the debut album from Larrikin Love 'The Freedom Spark' entered at 37.
Singles chart highlights this week includes the Killers 'When You Were Young' at 2, the come back single from Evanescence 'Call Me When You're Sober' climbing to 4, and Lily Allen's 'LDN' jumping up to 6.
Lower down the chart, with the full CD out tomorrow, Razorlight entered at 15 on downloads, Paolo Nutini 'Jenny Don't Be Hasty' debuted at 20, Streets Ft Pete Doherty 'Prangin' Out' entered at 24 and James Dean Bradfield just missed the top 30 with 'An English Gentleman' landing at 31. Others outside the top 30 include Dirty Pretty Things, OK Go and Bedouin Soundclash.
