Jet Change Newcastle Date

Illness has caused Jet to change the date of a show in Newcastle.

The band will now play the cities Academy on October 31st.

They begin their UK tour at the Barfly in Camden on October 26, a show which is part of the BBC Electric Proms.

Singer Nic Cester recently came down with a bout of acute laryngitis, an illness that has resulted in a number of European dates being pulled while he gets treatment in London.

The band's tour schedule now reads:

London Barfly, October 26.
Newcastle Academy, 31.
Glasgow Barrowlands, November 3.
Manchester Academy, 4.
Birmingham Academy, 5.
London Brixton Academy, 5-7-8.
