Groove Armada and Keane are to headline Freedom Rocks, set to take plave over the weekend of June 9-10 in Hull's East Park.
Freedom Rocks commemorates the bicentenary of the abolition of the slave trade in Britain.
Set amongst the Victorian grandeur of the recently refurbished East Park, Hull, a city central to the emancipation movement, Freedom Rocks will play host to the cream of the British Music scene.
Keane will headline Saturday June 9, meanwhile Groove Armada top the bill for Sunday June 10.
As well as the music, Freedom Rocks will be highlighting the Fight for Freedom Campaign in partnership with MOBO award winning charity Anti-Slavery International, who tirelessly campaign for the eradication of slavery as it exists today. Festival-goers can check out easy ways to make a difference, such as choosing fair trade products.

As the epicentre of the anti-slavery movement led by William Wilberforce, and a fair trade city, Hull is perfectly placed to hold this event.

Organiser Dave Grindle from Loud Sound commented: "Loud Sound see this as more than just another gig. The Wilberforce Project as a whole attracts us as we feel that the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade in Britain deserves national and international recognition. As well as putting the event together we are keen to play a part in developing awareness of Wilberforce's achievements and today's human rights issues. This will be an important celebration and will have a positive impact on the local community as Hull becomes the focus of this bi-centenary."
