The Who have invited an unsigned band to join them onstage at the Teenage Cancer Trust concert at Royal Albert Hall on 31st March. Roger Daltrey is an official patron of the charity, which aims to raise funds for teenage cancer units.

The Electric City are naturally pretty chuffed to be appearing with the stars, they comment:
We have always loved The Who..They are rock heroes in the truest sense and represent what playing live is all about. It's mad for four lads who have been playing together for 6 months to be opening for them – we couldn't believe it. And we can't wait. Just glancing at the week's line up with the likes of Noel Gallagher, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, this is an amazing and special event."
After they opened the Teenage Cancer Trust gig fronted by The Futureheads in Newcastle, the band were personally invited by The Who to join them. They are planning to release a single, entitled, 'Sleeping With The Enemy' on their own label on 16th April.
