Wychwood Music Festival is determined to make its name as one of the most diverse and interesting festivals out there. Taking place from 1st-3rd June at Cheltenham Racecourse the festival has already confirmed acts from Ian Hunter to The Ralfe Band, Adjagas and more.
Festival Director Graeme Merrifield states his intentions:
"I thought about the eclectic musical tastes of many of my friends and thought why should it be a festival that caters for just one genre? Be it rock, world, folk, jazz or dance, it should be a festival with no boundaries, where cutting-edge contemporary music mixes seamlessly with folk traditions, and world music beats rub shoulders with experimental jazz; where mainstream artists mix with local ones and boundaries between audience and performers blur".
This year the festival will be even more friendly to fans and the environment as The Big Top is renamed The Friends of The Earth Big Ask Stage to mark partnership with the charity and backing of their campaign for a law demanding 3% annual cuts in carbon emissions.
Tickets are on sale at £95 for the weekend.
