Transatlantic trio Fiction Plane will be supporting The Police on their world tour this Summer, with a new single, 'Two Sisters' due out on 30th July and album, 'Left Side Of The Brain' due to follow on 20th August. Bassist and vocalist Joe Sumner was reluctant to cash in on being Sting's son, but he says of the tour:
"I just figured if it's gonna happen anyway, I might as well take full advantage. I think we're ready, we've got a great band and great songs."

As well as great tunes, the album contains plenty of political ballast, Sumner says of the track 'Running The Country':
"It discusses how unqualified and possibly unsuitable people can be, who find themselves in positions of power because of who they are."
