The Smiths' Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce will be hosting an exclusive screening of the DVD, 'Inside The Smiths', detailing their time in the influential indie group, at Fopp on Tottenham Court Road next month.
The screening will take place at 6pm on 18th July at the store with a Q & A and signing following. Entry will be via wristband only; wristbands can be acquired from the store on the day.
Fopp in Bath (Westgate) will also hold a screening of the film at 7pm on the same day.
This is the first documentary about The Smiths to be released on DVD, Joyce says:
"The DVD is a very real account of what happened when we were in The Smiths. We wanted people to know what it was really like. It is more truthful than anything we have revealed in interviews before because we were relaxed with how it was done and who was doing it."
