Liars release their new single, 'Plaster Casts Of Everything' next Monday August 6.
This will be followed by a self-titled album on August 27.
"I'd never felt like a songwriter 'til this album," explains Angus. "If you told me last year Liars would release a record like this, I would have laughed. If you said I'd be playing guitar solos, I'd have called you a liar. We never know what we're making 'til it's made... this time I'm a bit shocked."
The video for 'Plaster Casts Of Everything', directed by Patrick Daughters (Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, Kings Of Leon), sees Angus on a sinister car ride across the desert and features a guest appearance from Angus' ex-girlfriend, Karen O. You can see it for yourself on their
