Supergroup This Is Menace have landed themselves in hot water in Germany and Poland where stores have refused to stock their new album 'The Scene Is Dead', which is due for release on 24th September because of its risque cover. The album artwork depicts the Last Supper of Christ with the disciples replaced by images such as Adolf Hitler, Elvis Presley, The Pope, Princess Diana, Stalin and Bill Gates and Christ's head replaced with that of the two-headed calf from the band's earlier album artwork. The band have been forced to redesign the artwork using the vocalists' heads instead.
The band, comprising of members of groups including Killing Joke, Funeral For a Friend, Hundred Reasons, Sikth, Pitchshifter, Earthtone 9, Carcass, Napalm Death, Send More Paramedics, Therapy, Hiding Place, Amen, Murder One, Charger, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Fightstar and New Model Army, will also release a DVD, 'Emotion Sickness' on 3rd September.
