The metal supergroup This Is Menace made up of members from no less than 19 bands have cancelled their entire October tour.

The group takes members from the likes of Killing Joke, Funeral For a Friend, Hundred Reasons, Sikth, Pitchshifter, Earthtone 9, Carcass, Napalm Death, Send More Paramedics, Therapy, Hiding Place, Amen, Murder One, Charger, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Fightstar and New Model Army.

Rumours have been circulating online that core members may have recently come to blows and the band's new album 'The Scene Is Dead' last week caused controversy as it's artwork led to a ban from German and Polish distributors.

The band have issued the following statement to explain the situation:

"We have regrettably been forced to cancel the UK Menace tour scheduled for October. This is entirely due to circumstances beyond our control. Extreme personal problems for one of the band's core members makes it impossible to carry out the tour commitments. We deeply regret having to cancel the dates and are frustrated by this being the only option. We have put two years of fucking hard work into the new album 'The Scene Is Dead' and promise to ram it down your throats live as soon as we get back on our feet. The Scene Is Dead. Long Live The Scene"
