Brazilian metal stars Igor and Max Cavalera have written and recorded new material together, under the title, The Cavalera Conspiracy, for the first time in 12 years. The new act includes the brothers from Sepultra, Soulfly guitarist Marc Rizzo and Gojira's Joe Duplantier on bass.

The as-yet untitled record is due for a February release with 11 songs set to make the final mix.

"When Igor and I met at the 10th Annual D-Low Memorial Show and got the instruments in our hands, it was like we had never been separated. The metal was flowing in our veins. It was the same in the studio."
