The Features have taken the award for best rock act at the Diesal:U:Music Awards.
They won the category which was judged by Peter Hook, Nikki Sixx and producer extraordinaire Butch Walker.
The band's sound has been labeled as an American Kaiser Chiefs.
The electro award was picked up by Isle of Wight born and now London based duo Get Shakes, and the urban prize went to another US act, this time Cool Kids.
Peter Saville, one of the founding members of Factory Records and the artist behind all of the label's sleeves including Joy Division's 'Unknown Pleasures' and New Order's 'Blue Monday', received the Diesel:U:Music Contribution to Music Award. Saville is now creative director for the city of Manchester. Joy Division picked up the 4Music Icon Award.
