Lightspeed Champion have just announced they will be playing 3 shows on the evening of Thursday October 18.
Their whirlwind evening will kick off with a free instore in the newly reopened Covent Garden Fopp at 6pm. Dev Hynes will remain on site to meet fans and sign copies of new single 'Midnight Surprise', available in the shops from Monday.
At 9.30pm the evening continues with a Tiscali showcase at the Soho Revue Bar, where Lightspeed will perform after Catherine Feeny. The headline act is still to be announced.
The band will then head into Farringdon for a show at Fabric as part of Adventures In The Beetroot Field. They will play Room 2 alongside Envelopes, Theoretical Girl, Untitled Musical Project and more. Stage time for Lightspeed Champion is1am. As
previously reportedShitdisco, due to play the same room, have pulled out after illness in the camp.
Lightspeed Champion plays further shows this November as support to Good Shoes and later to Patrick Wolf.
New single 'Midnight Surprise' is taking from the debut LP, 'Falling Off The Lavender Bridge' which is set for release on January 21 2008.
